Double Vision Acres was founded by Megan, who developed the idea and passion for the farm after her involvement in showing animals in 4H and FFA. The name “Double Vision” originated from an Angus bull Megan encountered while working with GENEX on cattle breeding. Initially, Megan’s goal was to showcase her animals and sell her own homegrown beef on a small scale. However, in 2020, she connected with Farmer Dean, who provided her with space on his larger farm to accommodate her animals. This partnership allowed Megan to expand her operations and also market Dean’s beef. All the meat sold at the farm store is sourced directly from this farm, where the animals are born and raised. Dean recognizes Megan’s passion and supports her endeavors in running the store, while he focuses more on the animal and farm aspects. In a nutshell, Dean owns the farm, Megan rents from him, and together they are available to answer any questions about the animals raised at Double Vision Acres.
